Byram NJ cop who was fired after Facebook comments sues town

The lawsuit names the township, Burke and township Manager Joseph Sabatini. Underwood said the department also looked at his personal Facebook page, where he got into another exchange regarding race relations on June 10. Underwood shared a video entitled, What the left won t tell you about the plight of Black people and the myth of systemic racism. The video, posted by NewsBusters, which touts itself as a blog  exposing and combating liberal media bias, includes snippets from interviews with famous Black people including rapper Lil Wayne. The rapper states in an interview that there is no such thing as racism. In the exchange, Underwood writes, apparently sarcastically, I now see it. Because I grew up in a well-off white town and never had to deal with discrimination because of the color of my skin I must be racist.

Trenton councilwoman asks AG to keep Trenton cop who lied in warrant from getting job back

TRENTON — A Trenton cop who repeatedly lied on a search warrant in a federal case will return to the force after serving a six-month suspension, records show. A hearing officer sustained 16 of the 17 charges against Detective Sgt. David Ordille following an administrative proceeding several months ago. The charges ranged from misconduct to conduct unbecoming a police officer. - Advertisement - A federal judge previously chastised Ordille for “affirmative acts of deliberative deception” in a search-warrant application that went before Superior Court Judge Thomas Brown in September 2018. The outcome of the disciplinary case has turned into quite the political Ordille with a city legislator asking the state Attorney General’s Office to intervene by shutting down the return of the troubled cop, who has been suspended without pay since May.
