Stillwater, Okla. – Clemson women’s golf finished round two of the NCAA Stillwater Regional at +12 (300) to sit alone in third place heading into Wednesday’s final round. The top four teams will advance to the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. from May 20-25. Melena Barrientos turned in the best round of the day for the Tigers, shooting a one-under-par 71. The freshman used back-to-back birdies on holes two and three to carry her to a -1 front nine, before eagling the par-5 18th to finish the back nine at even. Barrientos has now turned in an eagle on back-to-back days on 18, her only two eagles of the season, and sits alone in 6th place at +1 for the tournament. Savannah Grewal finished the day with a one-over-par 73, with two birdies on the front nine. Grewal is tied for fifth at even par.
