Its also worth noting that before the war officially began fort sumter in april 16 1861, the columbus guards were invited to be the bodyguard of Jefferson Davis when he was inaugurated as the confederacys first and only president. Well, a home that exploded in Lancaster County killing one utility worker was caused in part by a leaking gas plain. The ntsb released their report on the explosion and here is a report of the before and after photos in millersville and the house exploded before 1 00 in the afternoon that day. As four utility workers were on the job in the area. Three of them were hurt and one lost his life.
