Well, a home that exploded in Lancaster County killing one utility worker was caused in part by a leaking gas plain. The ntsb released their report on the explosion and here is a report of the before and after photos in millersville and the house exploded before 1 00 in the afternoon that day. As four utility workers were on the job in the area. Three of them were hurt and one lost his life. The ntsb report reveal that hours prior to the explosion someone smelled natural gas and called the gas company and they determined the levels were unsafe and the one resident inside was evacuated. The report stated in addition to the homes leaking gas main the sewer main in the front yard was missing its cap. Several beach front blocks in margate are turn nood a stagnant lake following heavy rain over the weekend and a dune project is blamed. It has gotten so bad access areas to the beach that had water are now closed and that the standing water could be a health hazard. John rawlins is live with the latest on this ongoing problem. Its a tough summer at Margate Beach and numbers are down as they this view from drone 6 after the weekends storm the water in the basins did not drain away instead stagnant ponds resist and residents think that the basins were poorly designed. Any Elementary School kid knew it was saturated sand, it could not absorb more and the feds are talking about putting sand back into the basins but first water has to be removed and pumped were brought in and the idea is to pump the water directly into the ocean. Margate tried to stop the project and the Current Basin issue angered residents and now going to court to stop the current work says the mayor. We are having a special meeting and the point of discussion is whether to hire an attorney to apply for a temporary restraining order at this point im positive that will pass.
