PETALING JAYA: Censof Holdings Bhd returned to the black for its third quarter ended Dec 31, 2020, posting a net profit of RM2 million against a net loss of RM83,000 reported in the same quarter of the previous year, attributed to higher sales from attractive government grants in Singapore, savings in finance costs, and a profit contribution from Netsense Group acquired earlier in the year among others.
Revenue for the period stood at RM23.73 million, a 42.2% improvement from RM16.68 million reported previously.
For the cumulative nine-month period, the group’s net profit stood at RM14.09 million, over a ninefold increase over RM1.54 million reported for the corresponding period of last year.

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 6): Software solutions provider Censof Holdings Bhd has bagged a RM10.12 million contract from the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to undertake the provision of maintenance and support services for the latter s budget management information system, MYResults.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Censof said the contract carries a tenure of two years, commencing from Jan 1, 2021 to Dec 31, 2022.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board of Censof said the contract will contribute positively to the group s earnings per share and future earnings.
Censof s share price closed half a sen or 1.96% lower at 25 sen today, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM125.44 million. There were 5.72 million shares traded.
