Officers rushed him to the hospital after an individual ran him over. Its sad they out here to save us, help us and keep the peace and people are wreckless. That suspect is mar keys johnson, police say he was trying to get away from officers who were closing in because they thought johnson had a gun. Investigators say he saw officers and took off. Driving into the officer on a bike and then driving away. Police found the suv empty and searched the nearby park, making an arrest a few hours later in the tenderloin. Evening to see some of the light rain moving into northern Sonoma County and then as we go into tonight, some of the heavier downpours moving in, into some of those wild fire ravaged areas and San Francisco with lighter rain tonight and making its way into parts of the peninsula as well as the east bay and into san jose shortly before midnight, youll hear some of that rain coming down through the roof and also breezy winds. More people allowed home this evening. Dry creek reopened in napa county. Only 15,000 people remain evacuated. Down from 100,000 last saturday. Now thats because all five of the north bay fires are more than 70 contained. Authorities today though increased the number of homes and other building destroyed to nearly 7,000 now. A lot of the attention is turning to the cleanup and recovery for thousands of families beginning with the removal of tons of toxic debris.
