Downtown Tulsa Business Trying To Help Limit Spread Of COVID-19
The Tulsa Health Department’s COVID-19 Zip Code Risk Map shows that downtown Tulsa is at extremely severe risk for COVID-19, leading businesses to take extra precautions.
23 zip codes in Tulsa County currently are dark red for extreme severe COVID-19 risk.
Jared Barton is the Catering Manager at the Vault in downtown. He said since the pandemic, they’ve been doing all they can to keep their customers safe.
“Lysol is our best friend, we make sure our guests wear their masks coming in and if they don’t have one, we will provide them one,” Barton said.

In a few years it has become one of the highlights of the year at Lynn s Queen Elizabeth Hospital, but staff know better than everyone that 2020 has made it a year where people are unable to come together.
So this year s QEH staff awards have been handed out virtually but is still a celebration of those who have gone above and beyond during what has been an unprecedented year for the NHS.
In a record year which saw over 550 staff and teams nominated, awards were handed out in 12 categories, showcasing the incredible work of staff from across the QEH King s Lynn Trust.

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort is hosing a Festival of Trees to bring holiday cheer and raise funds for the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation. Multiple local businesses are sponsoring Christmas trees in the hotel. The businesses decorated and customized the trees to represent them, and visitors can vote on who has the best tree.
There is no prize for the business that wins the contest. But Catering Manager for Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort Juli Mills says it’s all in the name of fun and supporting the local community. “You really got to create interest in fundraising if you want to have people come out and support your cause. You got to give them a reason to, in addition to loving the hospital and wanting to support the community. Supporting the community means having fun activities so we can all enjoy them together,” said Mills.
