Police cars circling the area. Theyre looking for three suspects who in the last 15 minutes attacked another cyclist. A cyclist that was just across the street from us on the panhandle bike path. They heard a man yelling for help. The three suspects took off running when people arrived. The man managed to keep his bicycle. The fourth incident where thieves are causing cyclists to crash so they can be robbed. The bike path lights up with cyclists at night. Some regular riders arent feeling safe. Horrified. It is really, really disturbing i think. Recent late night attacks on cyclists have their attention. Two cyclists were attacked this month, while riding late at night. There were three violent incidents, where bike thieves hit riders over the head or stuck something in their spokes causing a crash and an opportunity to steal the beak and valuables.
