MACON, Ga. Bibb County s second countywide cleanup is happening Saturday in many neighborhoods across the county.
Andrea Cooke, who lives in the Napier neighborhood, said that the first cleanup in April was a hit.
Cooke said, It s an immediate boost in being prideful for where you live. It may seem like it is one day a few hours, but it is long-term ramifications behind what s happening with cleaning up our neighborhoods.

Macon-Bibb County and Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful (KMBB) have announced a countywide clean-up date for Saturday, July 24.
This will be the organization s second county cleanup day. The first event in March brought out over 1,500 people to clean up trash from Macon streets.
Volunteers collected more than 109,000 pounds of trash.
“It’s incredible to see what our community can do when we come together to keep our streets clean,” Mayor Lester Miller said in a press release. “This initiative can have an impact on public safety, economic development, tourism, neighborhood pride and so much more, but we all have to put in the effort.”
Life is too short.
The shop is situated just minutes away from the town s popular pub, The Rampant Horse, and Terri hopes that exciting events planned at Needham Lake will draw in visitors.
The shop will be filled with old, quirky items, which Terri explained all have a story behind.

A group of friends are following their dreams by opening a new antique shop called Finders Keepers in the heart of Needham Market, after the coronavirus lockdowns spurred them on to taking the plunge.
