This time and i heard a gunshot go off. Reporter she says she could hear the gunshot was fired in her backyard. State Police Arrived moments later to find the 50yearold victim had been shot to death. As investigators started searching the area they found the home of 61yearold gary mauer less than a block away with the lights on and the front door opened. Inside they found mauers lifeless body on the living room floor. They quickly determined he died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
