let s go to anne makovec who joins us now from san bruno with the latest on this story. anne, good morning. reporter: good morning, sydnie. at least 29 lawsuits have already been filed involving more than 100 people. two more suits are expected to be filed today. this neighborhood is still blocked off this morning. now, the lawyers of course getting involved two months later. most of the suits point the finger of blame squarely at pg&e alleging the company did not properly maintain the gas line that blew up two months ago and/or that the company did not have appropriate safety measures in place like automatic shutoff valves for the line in case of emergency. gas did flow through the pipe for almost an hour and a half, feeding this fire, before pg&e was able to access its shutoff switches at remote locations. eight people were killed, 35 homes destroyed. with all these lawsuits floating around, pg&e wants them all to be heard by one judge instead of separately. that could op
