Officer Andrew Camilleri was killed just before midnight on Christmas Eve as he was patrolling for dangerous drivers on interstate 880 in hayward. He was 33 years old, a father of three. Minutes ago hundreds of chp officers from all over the bay area and around the state gathered outside the chp academy in West Sacramento to pay tribute to the officer. Its unfortunate that his life was taken. His passion was going out doing the job, arresting dui drivers. And he is taken from us by what appears to be a dui driver. The suspect was drunk and stoned.
