On Wednesday, July 7, at 11:09 p.m., on Bedford Road, Katonah, police pulled over Pedro Arias Mejia, 41, of Danbury, Connecticut, who was observed traveling north in the southbound lane.Â
Mr. Mejiaâs showed signs of intoxication, and there was a strong odor of alcohol, police said; he admitted to consuming beer. He was arrested and transported to county police headquarters in Mount Kisco for a blood alcohol test, which he failed; testing equipment was unavailable at Bedford police headquarters.
Mr. Mejia was charged with driving while intoxicated, processed and issued five tickets. He returns to Bedford Court July 21.Â
