More of those credit card skimmers at gas pumps in the month of august than they did all of last year combined. And Officials Say the criminals who want to steal your credit card information are really upping the ante now. Ty brennan joining us live tonight to explain. Reporter yeah, you guys, right now we are at 27th and glendale here in phoenix, and this circle k location is one of those areas where the skimmers were found. This bundle of cables and wires may not look like much to the untrained eye, but these are being used to steal your money when you fill up at the pump. Crooks are very ingenious. They take modern technology and they make it work for their benefit. Mark killian is the arizona director of the department of agriculture, which oversees the weight and measures services division. Big uptick in the number of credit card scammers being scald by crooks all in an effort to steal your credit card information. So far this year, the department has found 40 credit card skimmers
