This all went down at around 10, 30 last night when officers came to this location here. Its the extended stay. America to a disturbance call. They were going to obviously check it out when all of a sudden shots ring out from the suspect. The officers, they returned fire. Ultimately 30 people were rushed to the hospital. We do know that those 2 officers were hit by gunfire. Thats when they called for backup. And thats why so many officers came to the scene and still remain at the scene. The suspect fired shots at the officers. The officers fired shots back. Ultimately 3 people were 2 officers as well as the suspect. Now i got a chance to talk to a woman who was inside at the time. She actually thought she heard fireworks and thought it was a dream. It wasnt. And then all of a sudden about 2 later and bam. And im like, okay, i thought it was my friend or my daughters friend.
