Im allen martin and vicki for joining us on the special election edition of kpix 5 news. Voters are turning out in droves. Here is a live look at the coliseum. One voter we spoke to shared what motivated him to vote in person on election day. I believe there are people in this world that wish that they could. And there are those that walk hundreds of miles in order to cast a vote. I believe doing it in person, for me, is a personal mission. Spoke with a good amount of voters in alameda, as well as richmond. And the santa clara registrar had people lined up for the doors opened. The Alameda County registrar is coming up with creative ways to get people to the polls. As you can see we are using tongs to grab the ballots and we had back the i voted sticker.
