Eletrical equiptment was making it hard to put out so they brought in a Carbon Dioxide truck. It suffocates the fire and removes the oxygen and cools it downafter several hours the fire was finally put out and pge could tell us the cause of both that. And the massive power outage that effected such a large swath of the city. We had a Circuit Breaker fail it created a fire around the breaker the insulation around the breaker burned and thats what created the situationpge says exactly why the breaker failed is still being looked into. But its age relatedits simply old equiptment. They are in the process of spending 100 Million Dollars to upgrade that substation.
