The storm is now a category one and while the current track has it moving well off the coast, joses effects will be felt. Meteorologist Melissa Mcgee has been tracking this storm for the last few days and joins us now with the latest on the path. Yes, sarah and walter, we are tracking jose. And the latest update has the storm as a category one hurricane with maximum sustained winds at 90 Miles Per Hour. Its about 305 miles to the southeast of north carolina. We do have three areas of property call moisture we are watching of course jose is the one thats closest to us, the one thats going to give us here problems immediately, and probably the next 24, 36 hours , but we also are still keeping an eye on hurricane maria, now a major hurricane in the atlantic facing category three, moving toward the Lesser Antilles, could affect the us virgin islands, areas like saint martin, puerto rico, all places still barely getting their feet off the grounds and trying to get things fixed from what irma rolls through.
