Plus thousands of floridians return home for the First Time Since hurricane irma. We take a look at the damage that was waiting for them. Pat . Well, what went wrong for the eagles yesterday . For one, the running game, non existent, thats a bad sign. Hear from big off season signing on how he views his role on offense. All of that and more next in sports. Well, so far it, seems like it has been an easy ride this morning on a monday. You know, meisha usually jinx cents everybody, usually by 6 15. Probably will say knock on wood right around now. He can actually, stay with us, another 50 minute to go. Start your day with us here at cbs3. Welcome back everyone, the caribbean island every saint martin continues to struggle mower than a week after irma hit as category five hurricane now the north part of the islands is french, while the south is administered by the netherlands. No section of the island was spared. Houses were destroyed, and many areas after winds of more than 200 Miles Per Hour tore through. Meanwhile, Florida Governor rick scott continues surveying the damage in his state. Yesterday he toured ever glade city in southwest florida, people left their belongings pile up high outside of their homes, the governor said, he plans to return things to normal as soon as possible. And, people are now being allowed back into the lower florida keys, officials are warning people making their return, though, that conditions are very tough there. Electricity and Sewer Services are not reliable, and water is not safe to drink. Fema estimate that a quarter of all of the homes there in the keys were destroyed. I dont know how you start over from all of that. Right now three storms in the atlantic. Jose is expected to have impact on our weather. Is that correct, natural sounds jim, thats right. We have three storms out there right now, jose is the one thats closest to the continental united state. Thats the storm that is going to be giving us some issues as we go as maybe early as tonight , into tuesday, and possibly even early in the day wednesday. And then of course maria, tropical depression lee, are still out in the open water, marie could affect areas like saint martin, areas like puerto rico as early as the next couple every days, so of course folks down there havent even began the clean up process yet, they have to stop as another powerful storm starts to barrel towards them. Talk little bit more about jose. Thats going to be affecting us in the next couple every days, still category one storm, sustained winds 58 Miles Per Hour, watch the track as it goes northward. As it does, that means we could be looking at some gusty winds , some strong winds, and then also the possibility of maybe little beach errosion too. There is Tropical Storm watch from the delaware bay, all the way through the new jersey coastline, up into new england that goes into effect tonight, at 2 00 a. M. It lasts until 2 00 a. M. Wednesday morning. So pretty much all of the day tuesday, then into little bit of wednesday as well. In general the impacts for us here, it will go with rough surround every, strong rip currents, seen that down at the shore points the last couple every days, minor beach errosion possibility thanks to on shore flow. We will get possibility of also coastal flooding. Could lead to some issues with beach errosion, too. Those two kind of go together. Then work your way little further inland, little closer to philly, and then maybe little further west than that, just some rain showers, and isolated rumble every thunder cant be completely ruled out. In general it looks like it will be some rain showers. Again there are threats for some moderate risk for that heavy rain to go along with what we will be seeing with the tropical impact. Taking a look at the seven day forecast real quick, zero eight today, 77 tomorrow with the showers, then meisha we do warm it up, as we get into the ends of the week, there, more 80s, humid, too. All right, thanks so much, matt. Very good morning to all of you. Happy monday. So we are looking outside right now at the schuylkill. So the schuylkill has been kind of a problem child all morning long , starting in the 4 00 hour, levels heating up. Overnight resurface project. Now accident here the schuylkill or excuse me 95 north at route 322, we will talk about the schuylkill coming up in just said, but where we saw police activity, now it is an accident. Two left lanes are compromise in the this area ninetyfive another problem child, it has been very busy all morning long shall pushing in the southbound direction, 95 north at route 322, so push in the for the bound direction, if you are headed out your home any time soon, if i were you, i would give yourself extra time there now it is the schuylkill at belmont. Problem child. Busy. Very, very busy. If i were you i would start to give yourself extra time. You are no longer traveling at posted speeds , headlights moving in the eastbound direction there. Boulevard, another area thats very, very busy this morning, push in the southbound direction, heading towards the schuylkill at city avenue westbound. We looked at that, too. Looking just us a busy. Basically overall right now give yourself some extra time. Jan, jim, back to you. Meisha, thank you. It was a match up with two of the most talented teams in the nfl but the birds fell just short. Pat gallen here to tell us what went wrong with the eagles and their loves to the chiefs. You never want to lose a game but this is one of the games you can understands why they certainly did. The eagles did some things well sunday, carson wentz, mostly good, defensive line again made it tough for the opposing quarterback this time alex smith. But, the mistakes, lack every run game did them in. Let us start with those mistakes, Aaron Sproles rarely makes them. His fumble on punt return, but the threepoint for kansas city late in the Second Quarter kicking in the n fl definitely a problem. Jake elliot just signed to the team after a Caleb Sturgis injury, from 30 out. Chip shot. Real dagger here went throws Fourth Quarter interceptionment changed the momentum of the game. The eagles need to clean these up before the giants come to town next week. Now aside from the mistakes the eagles seem to run out of gas in the Fourth Quarter. Kareem hunt, the chiefs super rookie gouged them, for two touchdowns in the second half, including this one, 53 yarder. And travis kelsey, jasons little brother, also a handful. He finished with eight catches for 103 yards. And that touchdown right there, hard to fault the defense, they played relatively strong, throughout. Making it tough on alex smith to get comfortable. Now, before he looked spent in the Fourth Quarter, carson wentz is pretty good. Pretty much the entire eagles offense. Went 25 of 36 for 333 yards and two scores, connected when Alshon Jeffrey for 92 yards, so wentz obviously a breitbart spot on offense. But whats not a breitbart spot. The running game it has gone completely mia. Eagles called just 13 runs which wentz dropping back 60 times. But garrett blunt, zero. Zero carries. He spoke about his role after the loss. Are you confident in your role moving forward, to go from what you were a week ago to now . I mean, you got to ask i mean, i dont know how i dont know how things are going to go next week. I cant really predict the future. Thats something for him to answer. Now, blount said he cant remember a game in which he received zero carries. We looked it up. You got to go back to november 17th of 2014. The steelers then cut him the next day. So how should we be react to go this game . Wip Angelo Cataldi up earl which plenty to say. You know, there were losses, hey, the team was better. This was a kind of game where it stays with you. Because you say to yourself, the eagles could have beat kansas city in kansas city. And they blew it for a lot of reasons. Basically, the Fourth Quarter, it looked to me like they ran out of gas. So again next week the eagles home open is her against the new york giants. See if they can fix the issues at hands with a always difficult dif i shall match up for the forthcoming. Again, i dont want to lose. You cant go 16 and zero. So certainly understandable they go into a place like kansas city, tough to play against very good team. They lose a close one, good game, though. Ran out of gas. Ran out of gas. Exciting game , yes. Thank you, patrick. Appreciate t well, still ahead, private pawn shop that kate tears celebrities. Really . And take a look at this. Waking up this morning with our eyewitness weather watchers, theyre up and at it this morning. To start thing out johns house mullica hill, lots of clouds, 67 degrees, mild morning, down there, in mullica hill. Also, going with 67 this morning at eds house in chesterfield, new jersey, reporting little light mist out, there could be little bit of fog to go along with it, a well, dealing with that, head to up 65 degrees this morning at eileens house up in gilbertsville also plenty of cloud cover for her, 65 degrees, and there is a running theme here.
