According to a new annual report by the Richland County Penny Program they are expecting to complete more than a dozen Major Projects this year. Since the start of the program, 127 Million Dollars in sales tax has been collected to fund multiple projects around the county. Rob perry, director of transportation in the county, says 31 million went to construction last year. 3 were projecting another 110 million to construction by the end of 2016. So for 736 million in projects, getting 140 plus million to construction is really going to be a huge delivery to the citizens.
