It is a hole. Reporter that is where he used to keep it. I smelled smoke, i stood up, and i went upward because it was burning my leg, so as i switched up i noticed i was smoking. I threw through the phone on the ground and lit up into flames. I kicked it down, made the fire go out. Reporter by all account his cell phone had simply ignited. Super embarrassing, the whole class got evacuated. Reporter darren has had his iphone six plus for about six months and that it has been working normally. Earlier this month samsung suspended their galaxy note seven phones after reports that battery issues were causing the phones to catch fire. Darren says he didnt expect this from an iphone. Across the country, the logical first thing to look for was, well, we have an enterovirus d68 cluster of patients that people are noting. Is there any relationship between that infection and acute muscle weakness . Reporter in some parts of country it looks like there is a relationship but the cdc isnt sure. Thats why theyre asking hospitals like c. H. O. P. To report all cases of acute muscle weakness for testing. And, again, the most important thing for you to know as a parent, if your Child Experiences sudden acute muscle weakness in one limb or in the face, you should call your doctor immediately. I asked about the prognosis of the three children who are being treated here. And the fact of the matter is, doctors dont know. They say this specific thing that is happening to these children is brand new. They are treating them with steroids and theyre hoping for answers quickly. Is enterovirus d68 but to date, the paetschs that weve reported today from c. H. O. P. Have not been confirmed to have enterovirus d68 infection. Reporter three cases may not seem like a lot but in a year, they would normally only see maybe four to eight cases. To see three cases in the last two months here is quite a bit something theyre concerned about. One initial test of one of the children being treated here has shown they are exposed to an enterovirus. Its to early to tell if any of these children were exposed to enterovirus d68. Good evening, im chris may. Im jessica dean. Howard University Hospital in washington, d. C. Is now testing a patient with symptoms that could be ah associated with the virus. And another hospital in maryland is testing another person with possible symptoms. Meanwhile the decontamination effort continues in dallas texas where the countrys first confirmed ebola patient is undergoing treatment. Correspondent marley hall has the latest. Reporter a hazmat crew dee contaminated the dallas apartment where infected ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan had stayed. Soiled bed sheets towels even a car were removed from the complex. Duncans relatives who are under quarantined have been relocated to a safe and private place. Theres room to roam there. Its an area thats inside the city of dallas and it is an area away fr
