This new style of restaurant is often referred to as a ghost kitchen.
A ghost kitchen, simply put, is a delivery-only restaurant. There’s no physical space for customers. Orders are made in one location, picked up by a delivery driver, and enjoyed off-premise.
While Food Network star Guy Fieri already has a few different restaurants in Illinois, he s opened ghost kitchens in those spaces to get his food out to customers.
It s a great idea, because who doesn t want to take a trip to Flavortown?
The menu features Donkey Sauce to go, and has just 19 items available. Fieri’s Flavortown has such dishes as Bourbon Brown Sugar Barbecue Wings for $13.99, Jalapeno Pig Poppers for $12.99, the “Chicken Guy!” classic for $11.99, and Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger for $12.99.
