the cafe and courtyards, magnificent. thank you for having me. this is an absolute pleasure to be here in this wonderful place. this will not shock you because you don t know me but i started out as a poet and the idea of writing about crime is the farthest thing that has ever been from my mind. i have never pictured myself in any way interested in guns, dead bodies, i have tried to stay away from them for as long as i can and as far as i can. and usually even when we are watching tv at home and someone draws out a gun i am the first person to reach for the remote and change the channel. service won t surprise you but the fact that ended up writing about an assassination was a complete shocker to me. the way this fell into my lap so to speak was as was mentioned earlier in the introduction, this political assassination that i wrote about in summer of the 1992 in berlin, germany at a restaurant and two gunmen, one with a machine gun and the other with a handgun walked into the

those guys they avoid us downrange because they don t want to be stigmatized by the military or the uniform. i think a northwestern your position, having hybridized. thank you very much, i appreciate that. and i have not been approached, yet, about that. i certainly would be willing to offer my services, and i think there are actually a lot of people in this generation, especially in this generation of veterans who have come back and taken a different look at what is happening in places like iraq and afghanistan, southeast asia, the horn of africa, who are open to thinking about the wider approach, about how you actually create peace overseas, and so i certainly think that it s there. thank you for the comment about james. i keep my friend john roy john just i keep a coin in my pocket about with james sometimes never forget in memory of our foreign brothers, and what we try to do with them, the greatest thing we can do for someone like james, is to actually live
congress and exercise with in the united states? to we understand them as carrying out more-related functions within the united states? if so, what implications does that have on the powers that the executives can exercise, particularly with respect to american citizens? john. well, burstein would say i don t want so be misunderstood to say that if we still sues award approach to terrorism, that excludes civilian law enforcement. so when people have been captured in the united states almost all except one are two exceptions have been tried by criminal-justice system in light. and so i think only one are two cases to the executive branch to detain anyone as a military detainee, and that think those were on ultimately transferred to a criminal prosecution anyway. so i think even though i do think that i didn t really think of the war powers as adding on to the tools already available to the civilian criminal justice system, but it should not be limited just to the civilia
this girl from china. definitely a few grocer in china who were dating boys from the dominican republic. there were tons of couples. i don t know that they had to hide it. if they had to hide it they probably were dating in all. you know, some of the muslim girls whose parents are very strict, it s not that there would hide their relationship, it s that they wouldn t have relationships and high-school with boys from bicycles. but then there were a bunch of boys from yemen who would, you know, send a very, very romantic valentine s day cards to gross named geraldine and josephine and stuff. really seduce them. a question about all of the colleges and universities that you named. the think there was something about all these? it made this will have more success with respect to how they perceive education? also what it says about the validation about our country in bringing coaches together. .. a lot of the kids i know have end up at the university of vermont, a couple kids
