Kinky Boots, and more, Richard has been making waves on Broadway for nearly a decade but 2020 saw Richardâs profile skyrocket, a feat given the COVID-19 theatre shutdown. But much of the newfound national attention was spurred by a
viral twitter post on the heels of the murder of George Floyd and the ensuing protests, a post in which Richard detailed his own experiences facing racism on Broadway. What is your typical day like now?
Definitely getting a lot more time with my cat, Snug, which he is thrilled about. I m learning to work out at homeâI bought weights and everything! I m also taking a lot of long walks, which is something I ve always loved to do in New York. I can still find myself walking down streets Iâve never seen before, even after almost six years living in the city. Mostly, I ve realized that I don t need to fill my days with as much stuff as I used to. I m perfectly content and fulfilled without packing my schedule, which is a big shift for this Type A Virgo.

They were wearing the same clothes they had on when they crossed the border. The same day of Mukherjee s testimony, Vice President Mike Pence declared that the two Border Patrol facilities he had visited in Texas were providing care that every American would be proud of.
