The Golden Gate Bridge is back open hours ahead of schedule. The first cars driving over the bridge with the new median barrier in place at fine 30 more than six hours ahead of schedule. It picks up the barrier and moved one lane over, it takes practice and they want to have it down before opening the bridge to the public. The zipper operators are going through training. Navigating that and placing the barrier action vatry accurately takes practice. And some finishing touches left as well, crews need to stripe the approaches at either end of the bridge. The bridge district is on schedule to open at the 4 00 a. M. Time on monday morning. Theres a possibility that it will open sooner than that. The implosion is looked down on by those who live around the area. I would not go with the implosion.
