Bay bridge is expected in the next 48 hours. Caltrans turned on the lights last night giving us a peek at what the eastern span of the bay bridge will really look like. More in a minute but first liza battalones is following a motorcycle accident on 580. Reporter the chp initially reported this accident in the eastbound direction. We have new information. This is happened in the westbound lanes of 580 approaching vasco road and you can see right here traffic very slow now along westbound 580. As we go to the map ill show you where this accident happened. About 20 minutes ago the chp got reports of a downed motorcycle blocking two left hand lanes. Major injuries are reported.
