Indiana looked sharp in its second exhibition game on Thursday night, beating Saint Francis 104-59. Five Hoosiers were in double figures, led by senior star Trayce Jackson-Davis, who had 19 points and nine rebounds. The season starts for real on Monday night when the Hoosiers take on Morehead State.

BEDFORD – The most stated phrase in this never-ending virus period has been “We’ve never done this before.” And that, unfortunately, is exactly correct. There is no precedent.
So when Bedford North Lawerence senior Jackson Miracle, as astute as he is tall, mentioned “We’ve never had a Senior Night like this before” as the six upperclassmen in the program prepare for their honor night, he is exactly correct. This is yet another new adjustment.
BNL, moving the senior festivities far forward from its normal slot during the final home game, will celebrate the careers of Miracle, Ben Cosner, Kooper Staley, Aden Pemberton, Josh Blunk and Austin Messmore on Saturday night when the Stars host Madison.

BEDFORD – Somewhere on the road to Terre Haute, and that 85-mile trip grants plenty of time for personal awareness, Bedford North Lawrence changed its team personality. Or maybe it was something as simple as Jackson Miracle’s new red head band.
In the short span of 24 hours, the Stars mutated. Softness got dumped off the bus somewhere on one of those State Road 46 curves in Clay County. The team that conquered Terre Haute North on Saturday night, after getting smacked by Bloomington South, was tougher on the offensive end.
