So, meet the candidates:
Barry, 80, of Ellwood City said he s the common sense candidate.
A retired businessman, he owned Barry s Service Station, a towing, service and repair shop, for over 50 years, but said his only expertise comes from decades of living and working in the community. I m nothing special, Barry said. I just listen to the issues coming up and make the best decision for the town.
He s finishing his first term back on the council after serving previously in the early 2000s, and is most proud of the work he s done to offer affordable and reliable electric and sewage services to locals.
