Within the last half hour the chp confirmed one of the suspects involved in a highspeed chase in the south bay has died. We also just learned that car was stolen. It started about 3 30 this morning when the chp tried to pull over a speeding car on highway 101 near hellyer in south san jose. Officers say the driver tried to get away from them by getting off and on the freeway. The driver reached speeds up to 125 miles an hour. The chase ended when the driver couldnt maneuver the southbound 280 ramp at winchester boulevard. A man a woman were in the car.
