Around one of the riders who then got angry and hit his side mirror and broke, then the other rider he tried to wave them over because his car was damaged and they broke out his passenger window. These guys, they thought i was trying to hurt their friend or whatever. I dont know and so during the confrontation, they were hitting me and everything. They got me on the ground about three times. I tried to defend myself. Reporter he says at the end of all this one of those dirt bike riders actually ran over his leg. Hes expected to have additional surgery at sf general and since he already had a preexisting back injury, he says he notice the dirt bikes did not have license plates on them. Other people did stop to try and help him including an offduty firefighter. He says he was driving to earn money because he is a new dad. And new at six a motor psych lift is recovering tonight after he was hit by a police car. This crash happened this morning just before 8 00 at the intersection of 19th and broadway. Officers closed that intersection after the crash. You can see there the dree bring and the damage to the police cruiser. The motor cyclist is in stable condition. The officer was not injured and no further details are being released. A lot of nervous raider fans tonig tonight. Oakland city leaders tried to save the team.
