The Charter Amendment we could amend it to clarify that it is intended to cover employees who became City Employee after february 1, 2012 afterthe Redevelopment Agency dissolved. We keep talking about 38. I dont think the Redevelopment Agency had 38 before. 2012 there was about 200. I think its pretty narrow and it says and or their option to be exercised by january, 2015. They were built as two separate piers in 1914. They will mark 100 next year. They were joined in 1952 when we moved from rail to trucking. This was filled in in 1914 to provide a rail yard to support piers 30, 32, 26 and 28. That is where the city had the sugar import section. We were a big importer of sugar. Those were envisioned and pioneered to be built with reinforced concrete to make them fireproof. Ironically in 1984 the buildings on top of the piers burnt down but pier itself survived.
