They don’t make many football players like Archbishop Williams High senior Tyler Cooley anymore. The fullback/linebacker is the heart and soul of the Bishops, who just finished a 5-2 season with a 43-6 win over Cardinal Spellman last month. It was the team’s first win against its Thanksgiving foe since 2017. “He’s an old-school player,” said Archbishop Williams coach Matt Reggiannini. “You could put him in any decade and he could play. He’s tough. You could really build a team around that, especially a defense.” Cooley has the look to match his play.
