The accident was weather related or not. The big rig is in the process of being towed at this moment. If you look at the bottom, that is what is left of the power pole that it crashed into. It is pretty it pretty much obliterated the power pole there. The intersection was temporarily closed. Its open. However, there is no working traffic light. Now, luckily no one was hurt in the accident. But pg e estimates that it could take more than an hour to fix this and restore power. Currently more than a thousand people are without power. Now, we did want to show you the driving conditions out here in fremont. This was interstate 880 this morning. We were coming from san jose to fremont. You can see the weather conditions there. Into another battle with firefighters going up against mother nature. Just like the northbay firefighters, strong wind is a big problem and really whipping up the flames. Ellis and barber is back again in Ventura County. Were trying to get the latest on how the wind is. Whats happening out there .
