And two interstates will be closed between 9 and 10 this morning and two westbound lanes will be closed. Caltrans says this is part of routine maintenance. The committee of the bay bridge Toll Authority will raise tolls on 7 bay bridges. The proposal goes to a vote in two weeks. If the vote approves it it will go on in the bay area. The toll hikes will be phased in over six years. This is a 1 increase and by the year 2025 it will cost 9 to cross the bridge and 8 to cross the other bridges. It would not affect tolls at the golden gate and it is operated by other bridge. And they had to stop demolition work on the corner of pleasant valley, and asbestos was found in the concrete. The Trump Administration is making new guidelines for the program.
