and one foot out. he describes her in terms of the clinton e-mail investigation. as someone who work ford loretta lynch, how that syncs up with your assessment of her performance and integrity? i haven t had a chance to read the book. attorney general lynch was a woman of great integrity. i think to compare kind of what her actions are with how attorney general sessions takes is approaching his role and the need for justice departmented in to stand up clearly for the career men and women who are involved at both at the fbi and the justice department to conduct an investigation, i think you know, it speaks volumes. what most worries me and we have to keep focus on this is that this president over and over again attacks every institution that seeks to hold him accountable. it s from the courts when they hold his actions to be unconstitutional. to the media, to what s happening right now where we are on the precipice by all accounts of this president firing deputy
members, republicans in the house retiring because they know they can t win their rays but speaker ryan is now retiring. that s sending a strong signal that they are not on the right side of history. i guess the question is, if this comes to a head before november, they still control the house of representatives. yes, they do. let s think about the investigation here. it is being led by three people. fbi director christopher wray, special counsel mueller and deputy attorney general rod rosenstein. then a whole army of fbi agents and prosecutors. if donald trump were to replace rod rosenstein, he would have to put someone else in that person s place. when robert mueller shows that person look at all this evidence, it s not clear to me that that person would do anything different than what rod rosenstein has been doing. thank you. coming up, as if the comey book wasn t enough, this was a top story this morning. reports of another possible trump hush money payout.
