In to water while his grandmother was fishing. It happened this afternoon in vallejo. Brian webb is in oakland where the boy is hospitalized. They brought him to Childrens Hospital earlier today in Critical Condition but still alive, amazing when you consider he may have been underwater for up to 10 minutes earlier today. This is where it happened at creek and vallejo near the fairgrounds. The toddler was there fishing with his grandmother. He was sitting on a wall. She looked away for a moment and he fell in. The grandma jumped in but couldnt find him. The water is 5 feet deep, very murky. A man passing by, he tried to find the boy too but couldnt. Fire crews say they arrived within a minute of getting the 911 call and found the 2yearold boy in a drainpipe thats connected to the creek and finally pulled him out.
