School is canceled again today because of the violence. They used smoke and tear gas to break up that crowd. The head of the missouri Highway Patrol now in control there, said his officers had no choice. A sunday that started with prayers and messages of unity, peace and justice took a very different turn after dark. Molotov cocktails were thrown. There were shootings. Looting, vandalism and other acts of violence. This all started after an unarmed africanamerican teenager was killed by a white Police Officer more than a week ago. Just a release that 495 northbound was open and just 30 minutes ago, there was nothing on this side of the track because you got to remember drivers were out of the habit of using the northbound side for. It was back on june 2 when drivers said something was wrong with the two bridges over the christina river. The northbound side was sinking from the southbound side. They were underneath it. They blamed it on soil there, and they had pilings and aboveground supports, and at that point, opened the southbound side on the 31st, and, of course, the drivers we talked to did not care about the science. They were just glad it was done. Well, im glad its back open. Traffic was backed up through the city all day. Im glad to see it back open. When i tell you its reopened in the last couple hours .
