Couple found murdered in Hassan Town house

LAHORE:Some unidentified suspects killed an elderly couple under mysterious circumstances in Sabzazar police limits here on Monday.
The victims identified as Syed Anis-ud-Din, 60, and Nasira Bibi, 45, lived in their house in Hassan Town. On the day of the incident, they were spotted dead in their house. Anis’s brother-in-law from first wife, who lived nearby, informed the police. The victims were stabbed. Police launched an investigation.
According to an initial report, Nasira was second wife of Anis. His first wife died sometimes ago. He had two children from the first wife. After the death of his first wife, he married Nasira. His both sons were settled abroad. His in-laws from first wife also lived nearby his house. Police said the bodies were decomposed. None of the Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) have achieved the 90 percent confidence level in Lahore with respect to 4G signal strength as per the license conditions, says Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
In order to measure the performance and service quality of 2G (GSM), 3G (UMTS/HSPA+ etc), and 4G (LTE), of Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs), PTA carried out an independent Quality of Service (QoS) survey of Lahore through a 3rd Party Service Provider from 15th -28th February 2021 and 3rd – 8th March 2021.
In the QoS survey at Lahore, different markets and hotspot areas during the 20 days of tests from 0800 to 2100 hours on daily basis by deploying urban mobility riders.

Ichhra market, other shops sealed over corona SOPs violations

LAHORE : The district administration sealed the entire Ichhra market and many other businesses while implementing corona SOPs here on Saturday.
The action was taken by Model Town Assistant Commissioner Ibrahim Arbab who received information that despite orders Ichhra bazaar was open and people were shopping there. Following the information, the assistant commissioner reached there and directed police to close the entire bazaar due to massive rush of people who were busy in shopping without following corona SOPs.
Meanwhile, City Assistant Commissioner Faisan Ahmed sealed five shops and one restaurant.
