Ichhra market, other shops sealed over corona SOPs violations

LAHORE : The district administration sealed the entire Ichhra market and many other businesses while implementing corona SOPs here on Saturday.
The action was taken by Model Town Assistant Commissioner Ibrahim Arbab who received information that despite orders Ichhra bazaar was open and people were shopping there. Following the information, the assistant commissioner reached there and directed police to close the entire bazaar due to massive rush of people who were busy in shopping without following corona SOPs.
Meanwhile, City Assistant Commissioner Faisan Ahmed sealed five shops and one restaurant.

LAHORE: The district administration Lahore Tuesday sealed dozens of shops, stores, hotels and other businesses for not implementing corona SOPs.
Cantt Assistant Commissioner Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha sealed two marble factories, four shops on Ghazi Road and Power House Gym at Y Block DHA. The Cantt AC also sealed Iqra School Bedian Road for opening and holding classes.
City AC Faisan Ahmed sealed two hotels and four shops and arrested 15 people for violating corona SOPs. The City AC also sealed three branches of banks, Oppo Mobile, Hamza Traders, Madina Computer while 11 persons were arrested on Hall Road for violating corona SOPs and were detained in Qila Gujjar Singh police station.

200 mobile Sasti Insaf Shops launched

LAHORE:The district administration on Wednesday launched 200 Insaf Sasti Mobile Shops in the provincial metropolis under the Punjab Employment Scheme.
DC Mudassar Riaz said the 200 mobile shops had been established in rickshaws in all tehsils of Lahore city for sale of fruits and vegetables at the officially-fixed rates. The DC said that all the assistant commissioners visited the mobile shops in their respective tehsils to review the situation on the first day of launch of the shops.
City Assistant Commissioner Faisan Ahmed visited the mobile shops at Gulshan-e-Ravi, Iqbal Town Moon Market, Kharak Nulla and Yateem Khana Chowk and checked the quality, quantity and rates of fruits and vegetables there. The people were seen buying fruits and vegetables at affordable mobile shops, said the DC, adding the citizens appreciated this noble initiative of the district administration.
