A bear sighting prompted the closure of several rides and attractions Monday afternoon at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission said.
There are about 900 black bears in the state, which is experiencing an annual growth rate of 9%, according to Nate Bowersock, bear biologist with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
