For sure and looking at the temperatures to the 20s, 30 easy and 40s again this morning and so bundle up. We have a freeze warning in effect for the north bay Interior Valleys until 9 00 a. M. The areas highlighted in purple under that is a freeze warning due to the temperatures down to freezing and even subfreezing in this area. So frost and freezing conditions, do what you can to protect your pets, livestock, pipes, plants and hopefully, those without shelter, experiencing the cold and frigid conditions and were looking at the temperatures again. Could see recordbreaking lows this morning. And this is the coldest temperatures we have seen since last march and april. Its been a long time before the cold snap for us. Its all relative, right . We have seen some subtle changes. I know its not down to the good category yet but signs of things beginning to improve. For much of the weekend everyone was in that very unhealthy category, that purple color. Now were down into the unhealthy from the north bay to the south bay. Yes, its still bad. We have the haze out here, but were seeing signs of changes. Let me get to that and to give you this reference point. I have to give you a wider look at the satellite and the three large fires producing the most smoke, you can see the plumes on the satellite view showing the smoke now lifting to the north and east so thats moving away from the bay area. And were starting to see these changes from the system that is developing right on track just offshore. Thats going to help to change our air quality.
