Srinagar: The Huriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani Saturday said that those who are languishing in jails for the Kashmir cause must be remembered at all times as ‘they have sacrificed their present for the future of Jammu and Kashmir.’
The senior separatist leader in a telephonic address from New Delhi to the seminar organized by the Muslim League here over the life sentences awarded to Kashmiris, said that youth are being thrown in jails by the authorities in an attempt to crush the dissent and to weaken the freedom struggle of Jammu and Kashmir.
