and i mean, and where it. i ll be honest. i m worried about the debt ceiling, and don t worry, go on this if it goes bad, the command. and i m a little unconvinced on that. well, here s the situation. this is not just true on debt ceiling. there are large mountain brevard publicans who follow that. but a lot of the new republicans who are elected, a lot of the republicans in the senate, realize that if they fall maka, it s to their doom. the ones we ve had in the last two elections will be even greater, because the public rejects maga. so there people we can work with. of those six bills i mentioned that we passed, then made people think better of democrats, five for bipartisan. five of them, we didn t get the majority of the republicans, but we ve got enough republicans in the senate to join us that we could pass gun legislation. we can pass legislation on ships. we could pass legislation on infrastructure. and we will wear, and then making a pitch to those
railroad industry, but the alternative was a potential rail shutdown, hundreds of thousands of people, a lot of them unionized, losing their jobs, particularly in the auto industry another manufacturing industries, communities losing their access to clean water because they wouldn t have the chemicals to put in the water, hospitals shutting down i think in the face of that catastrophic alternative, the president believed the best thing for the largest number of working people, including unionized working people in the country, was to have congress adopt the agreement. final question, and quickly on this, is the white house looking into any executive action that could possibly deliver six for employees given that the railroads are a big federal conduct? always looking at ways to expand paid leave, that s what the president said when you put this proposal before the congress. and all ideas to expand paid leave, not just for people who work in the rail and a street, but for everyone
troubled periods. i think walker is completely electable. he is ahead at the beginning of this race. we are fully behind him. every candidate has flaws. and assets. this candidate has a lot of assets. is very competitive. and has a great chance of winning. listen to mitch mcconnell. mitch mcconnell was behind herschel walker. mitch mcconnell, while donald trump owes qudus here. no, we have the tape. and that is part of what made this entire enterprise such a bizarre spectacle from the beginning. of cynicism in american politics for all these people. with large and influential platforms. graham, mitch mcconnell, sean hannity, just day after day, night after night, to the cameras, with a straight face, herschel walker is a great candidate. herschel walker should be a u. s. senator. everyone knew he was not, including, thankfully, enough georgia voters, which is windy and, what did it do? it blew up in their faces. and it s not like they weren t
possibility. now, and in fact that is a lot of good politics is. it s operating in coordination with other people to pursue common names. that is what the party should be. that it s failed to do that. i do think, the thing that looms over this. the ultimate kind of kamikaze possibility. which is, if you beat him, you throw him out, he goes and runs frankly i think that is what everybody deserves. i think the nation and republican party deserve to purchase and lose again. as he goes out and runs a kamikaze campaign. i think that s just outcome. that is to me what looms over this discussion. i guess so. it loomed over a little bit in 2015, remember when he threatened to leave the party. but, we were then at a point of pathetic-ness that is really ridiculous. after four years of the trump presidency, after january the 6th. everything we have seen them do, the indictments coming. after the january 6th committee reports it s going to come and do it. done a lot of hours, crossed.
