Massachusetts state police say this van had six men inside when it flipped over. And was sent rolling off 495 north in merrimack thursday morning. One man was killed in the crash. The five others were taken to four different area hospitals. State Police Believe it is likely that most of these men were not wearing seat belts. We are told the group were on their way to work when the van somehow went off the highway. Near the exit 53 offramp. Within the accident debris that spread across the pavement, were Construction Equipment. Like hand tools and ladders. Crews cleared all that from the road before towing the van from the scene. Traffic was down to two lanes for hours, but the highway opened back up just before 10 00. And state police say they will likely be releasing more information on this crash at some point today.
