As you mentioned, the shooters uncle spoke to cnn saying that there was nothing to indicate that his nephew might carry out this attack. He said his nephew is 21 years old, described him as likeable and exceptionally smart. He did also say to cnn that saudi arabia needs to get to the truth of this, and that if his nephew is guilty, he will be accountable before god.
