Francisco. Merchants say it couldnt come at a worse time, and two fires in antioch keep crews busy. Were live with an update on the firefight that included aerial drops. This is ktvu, fox two news at 730, and it was back to back calls for firefighters in Contra Costa County. Thanks so much for joining me on this thursday night. Im heather holmes. Were going to get right to that breaking news there in antioch and check in with our tori gaines, who is live now on the scene of one of those fires with an update on the situation. Tori good evening. Yes, were here just next to the antioch marina. Im going to have my photographer turn so you can see where we are. Fire crews just recently cleaned up. It was a busy scene when we got here, but they made quick work of this fire. As you can see, they were set up right here next to the train tracks. Were staying a little bit away from the train tracks, just for our own safety. But today several fires sparked across the east bay, keeping fire crews
, and allow retailers to get restraining orders against convicted shoplifters. D. A. S would also be allowed to pool resources across jurisdictions to result in stiffer penalties. The governor is living in a fantasy land, and he continues to say hes doing all these things. Meanwhile, ram
Vine street expressway underneath where there are no traffic lights is also of course jam packed across town. Getting onto 95 northbound, 54 minutes going on an hour on the northbound side. Thats about four times what it should be. At least you can see the lanes here. The lanes are mostly wet but theyre slippery enough that people are really needing to slow down and as we look at the big picture, you get a sense of all the red and all the single digit speeds around the region. It really is nasty. We had an overturned vehicle on the southbound northeast extension near quakertown. Looks like thats now off to the side so just starting to improve there with speeds in the 30s and in south jersey our travel times, a little better than it was earlier but still a really slow pace on the southbound side of 42. Delaware also has its fair share of single digit speeds. Yeah, its bad. Stopped in a lot of spots this evening. Jim. Matt pelman, thank you. Now the latest on the accuweather alert from m
