MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) A driver was cited after a May 27 crash that killed a Vigo County,Indiana councilman and his wife, according to Master Cpl. Tom Vest with Myrtle Beach police.
The 19-year-old driver was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device, according to the crash report obtained by News13.
Around 1:10 p.m., officers were sent to the intersection of 67th Avenue North and Kings Highway for calls of a two-vehicle crash, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
The report says the 19-year-old driver went through the intersection to turn onto 67th Avenue North when he was hit by another car, sending his car onto the sidewalk where they hit two pedestrians walking.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) â A death investigation began after police responded to a burglary call Friday night in The Market Common, authorities said.
According to information from Myrtle Beach Police MCpl. Tom Vest, officers went to a home on Howard Avenue in The Market Common around 9:30 p.m. on May 14.
When police arrived, they found an unresponsive man who did not live at the home, authorities said. According to Vest, officers rendered aid but the man did not survive.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night at a Myrtle Beach hotel.
According to Myrtle Beach Police MCpl. Tom Vest, officers were called to the Fountainbleau Inn off Flagg Street around 10:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
One person was found with injuries and taken to the hospital for treatment, Vest said.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – One man is charged with murder following a deadly shooting at a Myrtle Beach bar in March, authorities said.
Myrtle Beach police MCpl. Tom Vest confirmed that 36-year-old Jermaine Gattison was arrested in connection with the shooting at Donny’s Saloon on March 25.
Myrtle Beach police revealed that Gattison fled the area after the shooting and was located and arrested in California with the help of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.
