The national capital witnessed a spectacular presentation of discipline and grit as Army contingents and other personnel marched on the Kartavya Path on the 74th Republic Day.
Dimapur, Nov. 15 (EMN): Assam emerged the overall champions in the shooting events at the 2nd Northeast Olympic Games 2022, claiming 11 out of the total 18 gold medals. The shooting events, which were held at the Assam Regimental Centre’s indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, concluded on Tuesday. Besides their 11 gold medals, Assam also took four silver and four bronze. Manipur finished as the runners-up with four gold, eight silver and five bronze, in front of Meghalaya, who won three gold, four silver and five bronze. Mizoram earned 2 silver and 4 bronze, while Arunachal did not fetch any medal from this discipline. Sikkim, Tripura and Nagaland did not participate. Each contingent sent 16 shooters, except for Arunachal, which fielded 11.

India s military might, cultural diversity, social and economic progress will be on display during the 72nd Republic Day celebrations at the majestic Rajpath in the national capital today. Apart from tableaus of Armed forces, 17 tableaus from different states and nine tableaus from different ministries/departments of the central government and Paramilitary Forces and six from Ministry of Defence will also be on display during the annual parade.

New Delhi [India], January 26 (ANI): On the occasion of 72nd Republic Day, several marching contingents marched down Rajpath in Delhi on Tuesday, with President Ram Nath Kovind saluting them from the dais.
A 122-member contingent of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, comprising of soldiers of the Bangladesh Army, sailors of its Navy and air warriors their Air Force, led by the contingent Commander Lieutenant Colonel Abu Mohammed Shahnoor Shawon kick-started the parade of marching contingents.
After that, the contingent of Jat Regiment, led by Captain Rishabh Singh Sambyal, marched past the salute dais.
