Cliff Dodge and his wife Laurie bought the iconic creemee stand on Main Street in 1997, launching a family institution. The building had previously been an A&W. Patrons would drive up to be served burgers and soda by car hops, but Cliff and Laurie had a different idea. With the help of their daughter Buffy, they began serving ice cream in two flavors, chocolate and vanilla. There was no twist available, so customers had to choose between the two.

RAYNHAM, Mass. - A woman is accused of robbing a Massachusetts convenience store armed with nothing but a hypodermic needle she claimed was infected with the AIDS virus.
According to ABC News, police responded to the Season Corner Market in Raynham Monday over reports the store was robbed by a woman that evening.
Investigators learned the robber, later identified as 34-year-old Ashley Demers, entered the store brandishing a hypodermic needle she said was infected with AIDS and demanded money. She escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, but a witness was able to capture a photo of the robber s vehicle and license plate.

ABCNews A woman has been arrested after robbing a convenience store while brandishing a hypodermic needle she claimed was infected with AIDS.
The incident occurred at the Seasons Corner Market in Raynham, Massachusetts, when the Raynham Police Department received a call at approximately 6:07 p.m. to reports that the establishment was being robbed by a female suspect.
Authorities were told that an adult female, who brandished a hypodermic needle she claimed to be infected with AIDS, demanded money before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
However, a witness was able to record the suspect s license plate before she made her escape and a notice was subsequently issued to surrounding communities to be on the lookout for the suspect and vehicle, according to a statement by the Raynham Police Department.
