This is of course a time when we get a chance to reflect not just the brick and mortar although i must say every time i have a chance to look up and look around i have to marvel at a building that moves in base isolate ors and has become a beautiful beautiful building and everybody i have talked with and stepped foot whether its the elevators or walking up or the rotunda, their eyes are always looking everywhere and marvelling at this historic building. As i look around today, most of the people are the ones who occupy and come through and make this building come alive. Thats you and the thousands that come through this building everyday. So, earlier you were talking a little about kind of how San Francisco came in in terms of actually ading the officer. More broadly how do you think San Francisco compares and what are some of the other cities that are doing really well in terms of open data . I should be clear. When San Francisco is third, we have a pact. Ill add to that actually. Whats great in San Francisco is there is not just going to be a chief data officer. There is also the office of civic innovation. Jays team, shannons team. By having both of those units in place i think there is going to be a really powerful team. Because you cant just open up the data. You have to do things like this, where you get the Community Together or you have

Right now 3 years later after the groundbreaking we have 15 companies to relocate here we have 5 thousand residential unit being built in the 3 block radius and a 26 percent of them are going to be affordable. We want to create opportunity to work and live in the city to be creative and to be include in the Economic Opportunities here. So im working with anyone else Technology Companies but companies that decided to move into midmarket even without the innovative of a Tax Exemption and 3 of the companys said were coming because of the talent here in the city. I know theyre to be matched with the talent of the people in g s a. Weve wanted to work outside of our bureaucracies. This is the new government were producing here locally and we want to match that we have great partner like our libraries and museums and were going to compliment that.
